So I've been meaning to apply to get my GED for awhile now and finally got myself into the office here in my little town. I signed some papers and learned about what the whole process was, the ladies were SUPER nice. I have to take assessments first to find out where I am at and so I have to take a math, reading, science, social studies, and writing assessment. I decided to do the reading because, well I'm a book nerd, so it went really smoothly. I got 50 minutes to do it and it really only took me 30 so that was great. When I turned in my test, there were 50 questions I had to answer and they were all multiple choice with the little bubbles you have to fill in, and I only missed 2/50 questions. XD I was super happy, and then the lady told me that that meant I was at a college reading level. WHOOP! I always knew reading would do me good someday That made my day super indestructible.
Then my mom and I went to the food bank to get some food for us, and the guy was really nice to me. He even gave me this huuuuge thing of chocolate cupcakes, that had a Halloween-y theme, even though it looked like he had to go all they way to the back of the building just to get them for me. I love nice people. I'm planning on getting him a Christmas card, just as soon as I find out what his name is. I took a catnap and here I am! Just had to share my great day with everyone ^^
